I'd love to get artistic with you, Ecc.
ReplyDeleteHow about we go to Shackerstone(canal, boats, railway, bridges) meet at 10.00am and have a drink at the pub after or picnic. Weather dependent. Kids and dogs inclusive.
hey what about ferrets Pip, thats a bit ferretist!!! lol! sounds good to me! I'm actually at a loose end 12th - 16th as Bob's away so if you wanted to do anything then and people were available ( jobs! ) that would be good too.
ReplyDeleteI'm up 4 that bloggy toggers, beer money ready, tesco will make me sandwiches, book me a seat on this gaffer's mystery tour.As pip said dogs and kids allowed,I'm sure I qualify for a big kid. Can I bring my sense of humour with me??
ReplyDeleteHi Jim
ReplyDeleteI think the railway line (steam) and station are open. Search on Shackerstone railways. The girls might like a trip on the train, the Battlefield line, it goes to Mkt Bosworth (coz girls like that sort of stuff too, but we don't feel the need to do it every weekend and write down the numbers)
Sounds like a good idea, I can bring my camera and some jokes ;-).
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Steve is starting to mark my work now, PANIC !!!!!!!!!!
Looks like we have a party, with peeps and a destination. Don't know where it is but sounds good.
ReplyDeleteWhere to meet and lifts to arrange so offers please.
Pete, don't panic. Mr Steve says I have not got alot on my blog, and has referred me to yours as an example.

ReplyDeletethis is for suzi Paws cos she cant view my blog, she really is a problem child :-))Saturday Tog Trip
We have been planning a day out this Saturday 10th of July and the general consensus was to meet about 1pm to spend the afternoon and evening at a location to be decided. We have included the evening in the trip as this allows for better photography with better lighting conditions as opposed to a morning start when the light is to intense with the sun over head.
We could have pub grub early in the evening and possibly move to 1 or 2 locations.
Eric Jim pip pete and myself are all ready to go with batteries fully charged,we need to know definites straight away to organise travel arrangements
Pip has suggested some local sites (Shackerstone canal, boats, railway, bridges) sounds good!!or there is stratford upon Avon or Birmingham city centre and the canals, all not to far away. or anywhere else not to faraway if anybody else has got any ideas
The weather forecast is getting warmer,so beer money essential,ya best shorts and some film in them old Nikons!! A sense of humour is imperative!!
Post tonight on this blog or asap or ring Eric or Steve to let us know if you are coming?
Brum is the main request at the mo
Wed evening at Alrewas
The Alrewas Memorial arboretum is open this Wed late until 10pm,it normally closes at 5pm. A great opportunity to get some nice late night photography around this large site.
